Digamber Jain Temple in Kumbhalgarh, Rajsamand
Bawan Devri is a famous Jain shrine built in 1464.
It derives its name from the 52 (bawan) shrines built around the main shrine.
There are 50 elegantly carved devakulikas (towers) on top of each smaller shrine & the rest two are the towers of the main shrine.
The bigger shrine consists of a sanctum, antarala & an open mandapa.
An image of Jaina Tirthankara is carved on the lalatabimba of the doorway.
