This temple is devoted to The sixth Jain Thirthankar Shri Padamprabhu.

The black magnificent idol is said to be found at bagera near ajmer district and after efforts of many devotees from various places, but were not able to move the idol.

At last it was the group of followers from Baswa who were able to bring this miraculous idol.

It is considered to be an atishay kshetra by the people here.

It is a very old temple and tirth kshetra and is estimated to be at least 1000 years old.
