Shri Parshvnath Digamber Jain Atishaya Kshetra - Pateria, Garhakota, District – Sagar (M.P.)

Main temple at Pateria is a very beautiful, full of art & miracles with principal deity Lord Parsvanath.

This temple is more than 200 Years old made according to totally Indian Architecture. This was build, by Seth Radha Kishanjun Shah by the earnings of one day in the business of Cotton in V.S. 1839. Installation ceremony of this temple was organized under the graceful patronage of Garha Kota’s that time ruller Shri Harisinghjudeo Bundela that was motivate by the precept of Bhattarak Mahendrakeertiji. 
It is said that in that function, Ghee became short for food, than by the order of Bhattarakji, the water of nearby pond was used in place of Ghee. This pond is known as Atishaya Kund. It is said that prayers & worship on first Sunday of every month is helpful for fulfillment of various desires of pilgrims. 
A miraculous pillar is also here that removes the various types of Malaria. This wonderful pillar was powered by the spells by Bhattarak Mahendrakeertiji.

Facilities:

Pateria Dharmshala contains 9 Normal Rooms and 4 Luxury Rooms and also a Hall – 40’ X 80’ & Gallery.
Mess (Bhojanashala) and all required items like utensils, bed, tent etc. are available.
